1. About this policy

This policy explains how GOLDSTB PRO handles information when you use its Android phone or TV app. “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to the GOLDSTB PRO app developer. Privacy questions and requests may be sent to sarshamir@gmail.com.

GOLDSTB PRO is a player for compatible Stalker and Ministra portals. We do not provide channels, movies, portal accounts, or content subscriptions. Your chosen provider supplies the portal interface and content. The app does not require you to create an account with the app developer; a provider may require a separately registered account or MAC address.

2. Information handled by the app

Information Purpose and destination
Portal URL, configured MAC address, and portal authentication information Saved on your device and used to connect to the portal you select. The configured MAC address and authentication information are sent to that provider to establish or maintain access.
Portal device identifiers and compatibility information Identifiers, device/profile parameters, app or platform information, and authentication tokens required by the portal protocol may be exchanged with the selected provider for device registration, compatibility, and authentication. The configured MAC is a portal identifier and may be generated or entered by you; it is not necessarily your device’s physical network MAC.
IP address and connection information The portal, its redirected endpoints, and media servers receive your IP address and request information when your device connects, loads the interface, or plays media.
Searches, browsing selections, and playback requests Sent to the provider or its media endpoints to find categories, channels, movies, series, or episodes and request the selected stream. The provider may maintain its own activity records.
Provider account information Account status, subscription expiry, and other information returned by the provider may be displayed in the app. The provider remains responsible for its account records.
Local preferences, cached portal data, and licence state Stored on your device to remember connection details, display or playback preferences, improve loading, and manage trial or app-unlock status.
Google Play purchase information If an app unlock is offered or restored, Google Play processes the transaction. Purchase status, product identifiers, and purchase tokens may be handled by the app to verify the entitlement. We do not receive your complete payment-card details through the app.
Information you send to support If you contact us, we receive the email address, message, and any information or attachments you choose to provide, to respond and resolve the issue.

3. How information is used

Information is used to connect to your selected portal, authenticate provider access, load the provider’s interface, search and play requested content, remember local settings, display account information, manage app licences or purchases, and respond to support requests. We do not sell personal information or use portal credentials for advertising.

4. Providers and other recipients

The app communicates with the portal you enter and the endpoints that portal uses, including redirected domains and media servers. Those operators can receive the information needed to fulfill your requests. Provider interfaces loaded inside the app may use their own cookies, browser storage, or other technologies. Review your provider’s privacy policy before connecting; we do not control its collection, retention, or use of information.

Google processes app-store and billing information under its own policies: Google Privacy Policy. Our email service processes correspondence sent to support. We may disclose information we actually hold when required by applicable law or when necessary to protect legal rights, investigate abuse, or secure the service.

5. Storage, retention, and deletion

Saved portal settings, preferences, cached data, authentication state, and local licence information remain on the device until replaced, cleared, or removed. Clear Cache in Portal Settings removes cached data; it does not necessarily erase saved connection settings or provider records.

To remove the app’s local data, use Android Settings → Apps → GOLDSTB PRO → Storage → Clear storage or Clear data. The wording varies by device. Uninstalling normally removes the app’s local data, but device or cloud backups managed by Android or your device vendor may retain copies under their own settings and policies.

Support correspondence is retained while needed to address the request and maintain necessary support records. Purchase records controlled by Google and provider account or usage records are subject to their respective retention policies. Records we hold may be retained where required by law or reasonably needed to resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or document an app entitlement.

To request access, correction, or deletion of personal information held by the app developer, contact sarshamir@gmail.com. We may request proportionate verification before acting. We cannot delete records held independently by your portal provider or Google; contact them directly. Local data can be removed using the device controls described above.

6. Security and connection choices

The app supports provider URLs and stream endpoints that use HTTPS or HTTP. HTTPS connections encrypt traffic in transit when the endpoint supports it. HTTP connections are not encrypted and may expose portal identifiers, authentication information, searches, or playback requests to others on the network. A provider’s redirects or media URLs may use a different connection type from the URL you initially enter. Do not assume every connection is encrypted.

Use a trusted, authorized provider, prefer HTTPS endpoints where supported, and protect your device and portal credentials. No storage or transmission method guarantees complete security.

7. Your choices

You choose the portal URL and configured MAC address, can edit saved connection details, clear cached data, or remove all local app data. You can stop communication with a provider by disconnecting and closing the app. Contact the provider about its account settings, access rights, and records. Google Play manages billing and eligible purchase or refund requests.

8. Children’s privacy

GOLDSTB PRO is not designed specifically for children. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information for our own purposes. If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action. Parents and guardians should supervise provider access and content availability.

9. International processing and privacy rights

Your selected provider, Google, and support email services may process information in countries other than your own. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of personal information, or complain to your privacy regulator. Contact us about information held by the app developer, and contact the relevant third party about information it controls.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when app functionality or information-handling practices change. The current policy will show an updated date. Where required, material changes will be communicated through the app or another appropriate notice.
